“We met a few years ago through a mutual friend and went on a fishing double-date at Lake Martin. Kent and I share a standard poodle together named Lew that I adore. We were at Children’s Harbor with him and my parents taking pictures. Then his mom and step-dad showed up with Lew wearing a bandana that said, ‘Will you marry my dad?’ on it. I was totally surprised, and it was perfect!”
