“We started dating our sophomore year at UA. Being from Connecticut, Mason’s family in Tuscaloosa quickly became my home away from home. Our relationship grew during our time at school, visiting my family in CT, traveling, concerts, and so many other adventures. After graduation, Mason and I did 2.5 years of long-distance dating before he moved from Mobile and joined me in Birmingham soon after we got engaged in September 2022, surrounded by all of our favorite people at The Club. It was wonderful to have our families together and celebrate. Mason designed the ring and put so much love and thought into it, the proposal itself, and everything leading up to that moment. We are thrilled to be putting down roots in Birmingham and loved getting married here!” – Gillian
