“We met at The University of Alabama. We both attended a crawfish boil in the summer of 2015 at a local bar called Rounders. Jaylan originally planned to propose in April of 2020, but had to put those plans on hold. In June, Jaylan wanted to re-do my birthday plans. He executed the proposal by safely gathering our families and close friends on an outdoor rooftop. I walked in and saw roses and our family and friends leading to him.” – Ashley
