July 23, 2022     Ohatchee

“We met thirty-one years ago and married July 18, 1997. My sister introduced us. I was a single mom of three when we met. Randy was single with no children and spent most of his time building his family business, Watkins Trucking Co. When Randy met my children, I knew he was my knight in shining armor! They loved him, and that made me love Randy even more. Thirty-one years later, while we have had our hard seasons, we’ve had too many good ones to count. Twenty-five years of marriage, seven grandbabies, successful businesses, loving family and friends, and a God that sent us exactly who we needed is really something to celebrate – so we did! We didn’t have a big celebration in 1997, and there was no official proposal. We were two adults who decided to get married; so, we went to Gatlinburg, TN, and did just that. On Easter, 2022, my husband got down on one knee in front of our family and asked me to be his for another twenty-five years. It was perfect, and our 25th vow renewal celebration was everything I could have dreamed it to be.” – Donna
