“Addison told me we were going to one of his friend’s engagement parties at Lake Martin on February 19, 2022. He played it off so well and truly thought of every detail to throw me off. When we pulled up at the house where he told me the party was, there were only two cars there. He told me that we were supposed to meet everyone around back, but I knew something was going on. Once we started walking down to the dock, I saw a little table with some pictures of us on it and I immediately knew what was about to happen. We got to the end of the dock where he read me a letter and got down on a knee. Of course I said yes. We took some pictures with the photographer there and went up to the house to have a glass of champagne before we headed to dinner at Spring House. Dinner was probably my favorite part of the entire evening because I got to hear all the secrets he had been keeping from me leading up to that day. After dinner, we went to his grandparent’s house on the lake where we celebrate with both of our immediate families. It was a day I will remember forever!” – Elizabeth
