Joseph and Liz first met while working at UAB Hospital together. Joseph fell in love immediately and knew he wanted to marry Liz while it took her a little longer to decide. They went on an incredible first date only for Liz to decide she wanted to be just friends with Joseph. Three months later, Liz realized she couldn’t stop thinking about him and the rest was history! They were inseparable after the second date until four months later when Joseph was forced to move to Houston for grad school. They did long-distance for a year-and-a-half before Joseph proposed at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York, which where Liz is from.
