“On our very first date, Trevor and I instantly hit it off as if we had known one another for years. I can still remember his laugh and smile in the booth as we talked about anything and everything imaginable: our family, where we grew up, the puppy I was about to get, how much we both loved cooking, trying new restaurants, and where we went to college. I still feel terrible for our waiter who had to come back multiple times because our conversation was taking over our ability to read the menu and order something. By the time we finished dinner, we looked up and there were no other people in the restaurant and the staff was vacuuming around us. We took that as our cue to finally call it a night and both knew that it was the best date either of us had ever been on.

From that night on, everything fell perfectly into place. We quickly and very easily became a part of each other’s lives. Even we were shocked by how easily we fit together. We bonded over our love of cooking, trying new restaurants, watching funny videos, sports, traveling, and our goals in life. It wasn’t long before we were head over heels in love.

On November 18, 2023, Trevor popped the question. My best friend and her husband were in town and Trevor decided to make dinner reservations at our favorite restaurant in town, Blueprint on 3rd. We went to Hop City to grab a drink before our reservation and on our walk over to the restaurant, Trevor took me to the back patio and got down on one knee. My best friend was there to capture the entire thing on camera and then Trevor and I went inside to celebrate with champagne and a delicious meal while he told me all of the details and how long he had been planning our perfect engagement.” – Emilee

Wedding Day Memory

“One of my favorite memories from our wedding day was finally getting to see Trevor during our first look. We did a first look and private vow reading with our photographers and my maid of honor who was recording the moment for us and it was my favorite part of the day. I was so antsy all morning because I wanted to see him face-to-face. We loved having a private moment with the two of us. Our photographer let us do our thing and captured us in our element.” – Emilee
