“Will and I are high school sweethearts. We met in school and went to a lot of the same after-school activities, and we started dating when we were 16 and 17. I graduated high school and went to Auburn University, and Will did the same the next year. We stayed busy throughout college as I pursued a degree in English Education and Will in Aerospace Engineering while he also worked for the football team. During February and March of my senior year, we had been dating four and a half years, Will took me on a few special dates without popping the question. One Saturday in March, my parents were taking me to a winery for a family member’s birthday celebration. Will couldn’t come due to working for the team. On the way there, my parents told me we were going to be getting there a bit early, so we were going to stop at a garden to waste some time. We got to the garden, I put my name in with the front desk to do a tour, and they handed me a letter. I opened the letter and instantly started crying because I recognized the handwriting as Will’s. The letter said he was waiting in the garden for me. I was so excited – I knew this finally had to be the moment! A trolley took me to where Will was in the garden, and he proposed. It really was a fairytale in the garden dream come true.” – Hannah

Wedding Day Memory

“Will and I chose to forgo a first look, as this was one of Will’s only requests for the entire wedding. Getting to walk down the aisle to the person I have been in love with since I was 17 was truly so special. Knowing we both had so much anticipation of seeing each other in this moment for so long made it so meaningful. I was so excited for Will to see me in my dress for the first time and finally become his wife! Walking down the aisle toward him and seeing his reaction was my favorite part of the whole day.” – Hannah
