Janet and Mitchell met in high school when they shared the same French class and became friends. They started dating their senior year of high school and have been together ever since. Mitchell proposed on April 1, 2023, at Appalachia Falls in Dahlonega, Georgia, on the bridge overlooking the falls. It is a favorite place for them as Janet worked there one summer.
