April 15, 2023 – Huntsville
“We met in elementary school and grew up less than half a mile from each other! Our love story didn’t really begin until March of 2020. I had posted a picture from my college spring break trip on Facebook and saw that Tanner had liked it. I decided to Snapchat him on my flight back home. We haven’t gone a single day without talking since that day!
Two years later Tanner got down on one knee at our favorite stop on the way home from the lake, Little River Falls. I just thought it was a normal pit stop until he asked me to marry him. I was completely clueless in the best way. Once we got home, he had all of our friends and family in town for a surprise celebration and it couldn’t have been more perfect!” – Kalee
Advice From the Bride
“The engagement phase is such a fun and joyous time for you and your future husband! Remember to enjoy all the moments of the planning process. It is filled with so many little joys that can be easy to miss if you’re worrying or stressed. Make the most of every appointment, cake tasting, engagement photos, and planning meetings because it is such a special time for the two of you. At the end of the day, you will be married to your best friend and that is what is the most important thing. Do not stress the little things, because it will all come together perfectly!” – Kalee
