Brandon and Katricia’s story is a beautiful example of how social media brings people together, and how shared interests and values create a strong connection. They initially met through Instagram where their conversation started with Brandon’s interest in Katricia’s quote about her “love language.” From there, their relationship blossomed. Brandon courted Katricia by sending lavender roses to her job ( a staple in their wedding) and arranging a professional lunch at Surin West in Birmingham. They learned they shared similar interests in books, music, art, and faith.
Living within walking distance of each other was a beautiful twist of fate, allowing them to spend significant time together going for walks and impromptu brunches. Brandon proposed to Katricia in March of 2022, on the day the Festival of Colors, Love, & Spring is observed, at Sol Y Luna in Mountain Brook.

Our wedding was garden-themed with stunning floral arrangements in shades of lavender and orange.
