“We met on LinkedIn through our previous jobs. We had a ton of mutual connections and had a first date in 2020. Jimmy brought over queso and to-go margaritas from a Mexican restaurant in Nashville and we talked for hours about our families and even found out that our grandmother’s grew up near each other in Birmingham. Jimmy and I took a weekend trip to Shoal Creek with his family to play golf and have some family time with his sister who was pregnant at the time. He always had talked to me about how Shoal Creek is so special to him and the great memories he has there with his family. He proposed on the 14th hole and I was so surprised! He also surprised me with a party afterwards with both of our extended families and my best friends from college. It was so thoughtful and the best night ever with everyone we love.” – Lowrey
