“Our parents met before we were born, when Jon’s father was the Director of the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts. Our parents had stayed in touch over the years, but we ourselves had never met. On Thanksgiving 2015, Jon’s family came to the farm for a visit. My family had been plotting to set me up with someone else that day, but Jon inadvertently spoiled the plan.” – Mia
