“Our families had known each other for years before Wind and I crossed paths in December of 2020. I had temporarily moved back to my parent’s home in North Alabama while working remotely. My parents and I attended the same church as Wind and his family. My mention to my parents that I had never actually met Wind was somehow communicated to him as, ‘Tori wants to meet you.’ Wind made his move and we began dating. We were on a weekend trip to Blackberry Farm with his parents in February 2022 when Wind proposed. My parents surprised us there as well – it was such a special weekend with our families and one we will cherish forever.” – Tori
