“Houston and I met our senior year of high school, and we knew nothing about each other, other than the fact that we were both going to Auburn University in the fall. We lived three hours apart, so we didn’t get to see each other often, but we ended up running into each other again. He asked me to his prom, and the rest is history. Little did saying yes to prom would eventually lead to saying yes to forever. We went to Auburn together and after graduation we got engaged at Church of the Highlands in Auburn, a place that means so much to us.” – Whitney

“If we could share one piece of advice it would be to make a point to take a step back together throughout your wedding day to pause and take everything in. Taking ‘mental pictures’ during moments all throughout the day left me with the sweetest memories I’ll never forget. There will most likely never be a day like your wedding day where both of your families and friends are all together in one place and it is truly so special. It makes the months of planning so worth it!” – Whitney
When choosing our first dance song it was a no-brainer. We had to pick a Whitney Houston song so we chose, “I Will Always Love You.”
