“On the night of Nov. 5, 2023, we were preparing for date night and LeZyon told me he wanted to go to the rooftop of our apartment complex at the time to take photos of me. Not thinking anything of it, I followed him to the roof and as soon as I stepped off the elevator, I heard our song playing, which is “Blessed,” by Daniel Ceasar.
As soon as I walked out the doors I saw the most beautiful decorations and all of my family and friends. As we continued walking, there was a giant “Marry Me” sign and of course the tears started flowing. Once we made it to the sign, LeZyon professed his love for me in front of everyone and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. As soon as I said yes, there were fireworks flying across the sky! We celebrated with our friends and family with photos and champagne all night afterward.” – Aeriel
