“Lake Martin has been one of our favorite meeting points throughout college. After six years of dating, on a cool and rainy June night we had a wonderful dinner at Spring House. Little did I know that he would be getting on one knee moments after dinner. He asked me to marry him in the beautiful area behind Spring House and I said yes! It was a beautiful moment ordained by God. It had been raining that day and God opened the clouds at the perfect time for us to have our special moment.” – Emily

“There are memories you dream about having, and there are moments that are a special surprise on the wedding day. A special moment for me was right before the ceremony started. All of the bridesmaids, groomsmen, and family members were lined up about to start walking. I was all alone in the waiting area, and got to peek out the window and watch the ceremony start. The moment was so surreal and unexpected. It was so special to watch my friends and family walk down the aisle before it was my turn.” – Emily

“My favorite piece of advice to give about the wedding process may be a surprise. Focus more on preparing for the marriage rather than the details of the wedding. Of course the details are important and will come together with hard work and dedication, but from your wedding day and on, your life starts together.” – Emily
