“Tyler and I met through mutual friends during the summer of 2018 and we hit it off the first night we met. It’s such a silly saying, but I knew he was the one after our first kiss. We dated for three years before we got engaged on June 12th, 2021. He sent me out on a girl’s day; we got dressed up and went out to enjoy lunch and drinks. Little to my surprise, I come home and our house was covered in red rose petals and pictures of us everywhere. I walked outside to our backyard to a beautiful setup of lights and a sign that said, ‘Will you marry me?’ He got down on one knee and promised to love me forever. He had all of our friends and family meet at Lake Ida for our surprise engagement party; it was such a special and love-filled day.” – Mackenzie
