In October of 2020, Blake and Taylor decided to take a trip to their favorite place, Nashville, Tennessee. The plan was to go up there and get some great photos for Taylor’s boutique, The Tiny Closet. Little did Taylor know there was another plan in motion.Blake, Taylor traveled with friends to Nashville’s botanical gardens, Cheekwood, where they wandered around looking at the different gardens. As Taylor wandered into the direction of the wishing well, Blake began to get choked up. He asked her if she knew why he was acting weird lately. Taylor looked down by the well and couldn’t believe her eyes. This was the moment. There was a column with roses around it and the ring of her dreams. As he got down on one knee, Blake asked Taylor if she’d marry him. Taylor asked “Are you sure?” and Blake said, “Yes,” and Taylor then said,”Yes!” too. After they kissed and the ring was placed on Taylor’s finger, she heard cheers coming from behind her. Blake had surprised her with her family, friends, and childhood best friend to witness the next steps in their lives.
Advice From the Bride
“My biggest piece of advice is to hire a planner or a coordinator. The day of our wedding was stress-free because our planner, Stacie Hawkins, handled everything. We all got to enjoy the whole day without worrying about any of the details. My best memory also goes back to our planner. Stacie designed and planned a vision I could have never imagined. When I walked down so see everything about an hour before the ceremony, I was so overwhelmed at how beautiful and perfect everything was. She had not left out one detail and I balled my eyes out because it was more than I had ever dreamed.” – Taylor
