Olivia met Miles a few weeks into their freshman year of college at Auburn University, though at the time, neither of them knew how important that moment would become. They crossed paths through mutual friends. Miles was never the loudest person in the room, but there was something about him Olivia couldn’t ignore.
Over the next year and a half, Olivia quietly watched the way Miles treated people. He was the guy who made everyone around him feel important. His kindness was effortless and genuine, and little by little, Olivia realized she admired not only who he was with her, but also who he was with everyone else. By the end of sophomore year, their friendship had turned into something impossible to ignore. What had started as a friendship slowly started to be a feeling that they had somehow found home in each other. That spring, they finally started dating – and from the very beginning, it felt easy in the best way.
Over the next four years, Olivia and Miles built a relationship full of laughter, unwavering support, and the kind of love that grows stronger through every season of life. They celebrated graduations, new jobs, big milestones, and quiet everyday moments that mattered just as much. Then came the moment Olivia would never forget.
At Miles’ family beach house in Palm Beach, Florida, with the ocean in the background and the sun beginning to set, Miles asked Olivia to spend forever with him. Standing in one of their favorite places, the same calm kindness Olivia had noticed all those years ago shining in his eyes, he got down on one knee and proposed. And of course, she said yes.
What began as two college students meeting by chance had turned into a love story built on friendship, patience, admiration, and a deep certainty that they were always meant to find each other.
Advice From the Bride
“You have to think: if everything goes wrong on your wedding day, would you still want to marry this person? It would calm me down to know at the end of the day we will be married either way.” – Liv
