“Clay and I met through mutual friends during my sophomore year at Auburn University. We went to a bonfire with all of our friends and that was the beginning of our journey. Clay had a plan in mind to propose on his family farm, a place that is very special to him. When we arrived, I assumed we were there for his dad’s birthday dinner, but Clay had a surprise in store. Clay suggested a ride around the farm, and during the ride we reached a beautiful spot next to a creek. I was shocked by the breathtaking scene. Pink is my favorite color and Clay kept that in mind when planning the proposal. The area was decorated with pink flowers, rose petals, and flickering candles. It was a moment of pure joy and excitement, marking the beginning of a new chapter in our lives filled with love and shared happiness. After Clay popped the question, we celebrated with champagne before he revealed another surprise – a joyous celebration at my brother’s house with our closest family and friends, making the proposal an unforgettable night.” – Kaki

“For me, a personal highlight was that moment right before I began walking down the aisle. I remember my wedding planner, Carley, asking my father and me if we were ready. I nodded as I looked at my dad, smiling, and squeezed his hand. As the mansion doors opened, I was holding my dad’s hand and was immediately greeted by the smiling faces of so many of our dear friends and family, all gathered together in one place. In that moment, I instantly recalled how so many of them had loved and supported the two of us through so many different aspects of our lives, all leading up to this day.” – Kaki
