“In March of 2019, Michael and I went on a ski trip to Utah with a group of friends. Michael and my future sister-in-law went to the mountain early to ‘hit the black runs’ and told us to meet them at the top of the mountain for brunch. When we arrived, Michael led me onto a balcony on the edge of the mountain. There I saw a pathway lined with candles, lanterns, roses, and a table decorated with some of our favorite memories.
Most of his speech was a blur, but I’ll always remember he ended it with, ‘You’re my lobster,’ which is a nod to my favorite TV show, Friends.”
