“We grew up in the same small hometown and have been going to the same church since we were toddlers. We went to high school together and both attended The University of Alabama. We started dating toward the end of college for a total of 8.5 years before getting married. We lived in Birmingham together and then long-distance while Bryan was in veterinarian school.
The proposal was a complete surprise for me which is difficult to accomplish. My parents came in town to take me out to dinner for Valentine’s Day, or so I thought. It was a school night for Bryan who lived two hours away. We went to a rooftop bar for drinks before dinner, walked outside, and there he stood in a suit and tie. He proposed with our closest friends and family tucked in a corner. It didn’t end there – the very next night he pulled off another complete surprise with a larger group of our friends and family to celebrate.” – Morgan

“I grew up singing and can carry a decent tune, although I never had true confidence in my singing unless I was alone in the car or shower. I often sing in front of Bryan, friends, and family, but mostly in a joking or playful manner. On our wedding night, I got up on that stage like a boss and sang, “If I Ain’t Got You,” by Alicia Keys to my husband. It was great, everyone loved it, and I had the time of my life.” – Morgan
