The weekend of Locke’s graduation from The University of South Alabama, Sydney and both families traveled to Dauphin Island to throw a surprise graduation party for Locke. When they arrived at the party, Locke took Sydney out to the beach and proposed. Their families were watching from a nearby balcony, and what Sydney thought would be a graduation party actually turned out to be a surprise engagement party.
