The most beautiful bar in Birmingham is a hotspot for a warm welcome.
When you have many out-of-town guests and need a less formal space to kick-off the weekend, a welcome party is perfect for bringing together everyone you need to greet. This event can stand alone or directly follow the rehearsal dinner. The guest list can extend beyond the wedding party and family to include all your invited guests to stop by, have a cocktail and a light bite, and begin the celebration with you.
Paper Doll, situated in Downtown Birmingham, is a fabulous choice of venue for an upscale, intimate welcome party or get-together. Floor-to-ceiling velvet drapes, chic sitting areas and moody, dim lighting throughout are staples of the aesthetic that make Paper Doll the sexiest bar in the Magic City—and the cocktails aren’t too shabby either. We highly recommend the Cosmo, which they have perfected, or the Campfire, a smoked bourbon cocktail that will truly light a fire under you.
Their newest offering, the Doll House, is a private space that can host up to 30 seated guests for an elevated experience, by reservation only. You’ll want to book ahead with plenty of notice to reserve the space for your own soiree. Signature cocktails can be customized for your event, but we suggest letting their team take your preferred spirit and craft something they know you will love. Their cheese and charcuterie boards are an excellent nosh, but outside catering is also welcome for private events. Allow the Paper Doll team to assist with entertainment, musicians, valet and all your hosting needs for a seamless experience that will certainly say, “Welcome.”
Shaking Up Scene / GM and head bartender, Reese Hovater, shakes a signature cocktail that will please any palette.
