November 6, 2021 – Montgomery

Alex was a bridesmaid in the wedding of her best friend from Auburn. Hobart was attending the wedding as he was a friend of the groom. At the reception in Montgomery, Alex approached Hobart and asked if she could leave her wine and cupcakes there so she could go catch the bouquet – she caught it! Five years later, Hobart found his plans for a proposal ever-changing. Knowing how it was hard not seeing their families for the holidays, Hobart made it a special holiday by proposing on Christmas Eve with some assistance from their beagle, Buddy. It was a complete surprise!

“The biggest piece of advice I can offer is to trust your vendors. You are paying them for a reason and if you hire good vendors and share your vision with them, they will blow your expectations out of the water! At our wedding, I trusted our venue to use the plates they had to offer and ended up with these gorgeous antique china plates and gold flatware and fun antique glasses at the dinner settings and it added a special elegant and fun touch to our reception.” – Alex
