The Proposal
On April 17, 2021, Connor told Celina that he was going to play golf that day. Connor’s mother, Cyndi, invited Celina and her friends for a Girl’s Day of manicures and shopping. After getting ready for what Celina thought would be a dinner night with the girls, Cyndi said they would be heading to their farmhouse to pick up the guys to join them for dinner. When they arrived, Connor was standing under an arbor by the pond. Celina walked across the bridge with happy tears, now knowing exactly what was about to happen.
“I knew from the moment I met you that God had picked you just for me. I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?” asked Connor.
Celina replied, “Yes!” through tears and excitement. They walked up the hill together to the house where all of their friends and family were gathered to celebrate. Connor had even brought Celina’s friends from out of town for the occasion. Their parents gave speeches and celebrated with a champagne toast and BBQ!
Connor and Celina will be married on May 14, 2022, at Red Gates at Kelly Creek.
