“In 2015, Justin and I were both teachers at the same school in Selma, Ala., which is also my hometown. We met in the teachers’ work room during student registration at the copy machine. I did not know how to work the copy machine, and I saw that Justin knew how it worked, so I made verbal contact with him for assistance. After work on the same day, Justin and I met face-to-face again in the parking lot walking to our cars after work. Justin had the courage to ask me for my number right away, and we have been best friends and a couple ever since – and now husband and wife. We planned our engagement together, because was moving back to the Birmingham area first. Our plan was that I would move there as well a year later, but I was not tagging along without a ring!” – Jasmine
